Simplify the export of cars and heavy machinery using our RORO and LI-LO services, ensuring safe and efficient international shipping.
When exporting vehicles or heavy machinery internationally, the Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) and Lift-On/Lift-Off (LI-LO) shipping methods offer practical solutions. These services are ideal for both operable vehicles and oversized equipment, ensuring they reach international destinations safely. Essential conditions, charges, and requirements.
Rates for RORO and LI-LO shipping are calculated based on full liner terms. Load port Terminal Handling Charges (THC) apply to each shipment. Confirm these charges when planning your transport.
Rates are valid for 30 days and subject to change without notice. To secure rates and sailings, use our RORO Calculator to initiate a booking. After booking, confirmation of space and pricing will be provided by email.
Non-operable vehicles incur an additional handling fee of $125. Vehicles must have a tow bar attached to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes.
The standard tariff includes new or used passenger vehicles, light trucks, and vans under 8,600 lbs and under 94 inches in height. High and heavy machinery may be subject to additional charges based on dimensions and weight.
Standard shipping rates exclude charges for port services, such as securing or additional handling. These charges will be confirmed upon booking.
Insurance is recommended for car and machinery exports. For more information, visit our Insurance Page.
Ensure smooth exportation by preparing the following documents:
After submitting a booking request, expect a confirmation number and invoice within 24-72 hours. Once confirmed, you will receive a dock appointment and sail date. Full payment is required before port delivery.
Vehicles and machinery are inspected by U.S. Customs at the port. Ensure all documents and payments are complete for timely processing.
